Our distillery is open 7 days a week: Monday-Saturday, 9.30a.m-5p.m; Sunday 10a.m-5p.m. Please note that we do not give tours on Easter Sunday, the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day.

We are located at 3350 Burkes Spring Rd, Loretto, KY 40037. There are a few ways to find us - if you prefer a more adventurous drive, you will want to take the route that takes you down Maker's Mark Road (we do not recommend this route if you are driving a large vehicle). If you prefer a route that has two separate lanes the entire drive, make sure that Maker's Mark Road is NOT a part of your GPS's route (we recommend coming in on Bill Samuel's Jr. Rd. right off of Highway 52). Unfortunately, Uber and Lyft are not reliable transportation options for our area. While they may take you out to Loretto, they will not bring you back to your home or hotel. Park in the Visitor Parking Lot (follow signs for "Tours"), check in at the Visitor's Center, and let the fun begin!

If you’re looking for a date within that window but don’t see it available, there’s a chance all of our tours are full on that day. If you’re looking for dates after that window, check back a little closer to your target dates.We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time (don't forget - Maker's Mark® is located in Eastern Standard Time).Bring your ID for check-in and leave cash at home (card-only currently).You'll be spending time inside and outside, so dress accordingly, especially since Mother Nature gets her laughs by occasionally throwing us some weather curveballs.Keep your feet happy. There's a good bit of walking, so wear comfortable shoes.Yes, you can take pictures. We think this will be a memory you'll want to keep. (We just ask you do not film the entire tour.)

WHAT IS WOOD FINISHING SERIES?

Wood Finishing Series is a collection of one-of-a-kind expressions that use an innovative wood stave-finishing technique to enhance distinctive characteristics already present in the brand’s iconic bourbon. 10 specially selected oak staves are used to create unique, limited edition expressions of Maker's Mark.

This chapter of Wood Finishing Series will focus on the teams behind Maker’s Mark. Our makers. These whiskies will celebrate the unique role they play in delivering the Maker's experience.

For 2024, "The Heart Release" celebrates the entire distillery team, who share our vision and who have contributed their perspective to craft the final expression.

The next release will celebrate another story from our people in Loretto, so keep an eye out for what’s to come.
